SWING GATES
Swing gates are suitable for most applications, unless you have a sloping entrance or there is not enough space available for the gate leaves to open inwards. They can be automated with either above or below ground equipment.
SLIDING GATES
Sliding gates generally slide within a ground track system, set into the road, and require a flat, level surface which needs to always be free from debris, mud and dirt.
If site conditions are unsuitable for a ground track system, then the alternative is a
Cantilever-style sliding gate. The gate operates in a channel bolted to a concrete base and, consequently, the under edge of the gate is then approximately 75mm above ground level.
All sliding gates are automated with a motor suitable for the weight of the gate, and
taking into account the number of traffic movements, if relevant to the on-site situation.
